The United Kingdom is controlled by the Labour Party whose party head is Tony Blair; he is also the country's Prime Minister. Regional Elections are organized every season in different parts of the country. The ruling party is not chosen with regards to who gets the most votes, but rather on who gets the most seats in parliament. Seats are acquired in personal places of the nation or places. Using a first previous the post system because of the way the system performs it is possible for the Party in Government to not have acquired the most quantity of votes. Although this may seem unfair the system performs because Britain very hardly ever has a hung parliament (where no one party has 50% of the seats), which has been a hurdle for many other European countries like Italy.
