Underground-S

The most convenient way to get around London is by using the subterranean or underground, more generally known as the tube. Most subterranean lines function between the time of 6am and 12:30 am, with less regular runs on Sundays and Vacations. Tickets can be bought at the tube station window or machine, prices differ based on which zone you wish to journey in. An all day journey card charging around £5 should be all that the common visitor will need to journey the subterranean. Tube charts can be found at all the tube stations they are published on the walls. We also suggest purchasing a post card of the tube map, it costs 10-20p and will be important. It is less expensive then purchasing a map and will make you look less like a vacationer.
Do not loose your ticket during the journey even if you are only going one way, as you will need it to get out at the end of your journey. If you do not have it at the end of your journey you will have to pay an included fee.
